Eccles. 3:1    There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:

ZAPPED AGAIN

1996 till 1998

In  the spring of 96 I was working for Sears (selling electronics) and Service Master (managing cleaning  crews  that cleaned nine banks two medical facilities, and a cabinet shop); I also ran the computerized message board for the Gray's Harbor Gulls (a  professional baseball team). Julie was working for the Church  twenty hours a week. We were busy weren't we?  Kevin and Michelle  moved into a nice house and  Tom was living in Sacramento Ca.

As the year progressed I quit Sears, the baseball season ended, and Service Master consolidated  areas. This left me with only three buildings to manage.  Kevin, Michelle, and Christopher moved in with us, and Tom did too.  Well sort of.

Tom had decided to fight for sobriety.  He checked into rehab.  After rehab  he went to an other agency to further his progress.  After about four months of hard work he came home.  He invited a fellow addict (Chad) to take advantage of our drug free home.  Unfortunately Chad relapsed and Tom asked him to leave. It was hard on us

We all cruise through life in high gear; never taking time to look back and reflect for more than a moment or two.  Then zap! Years have gone by, children have grown, and grandchildren are on the scene.

Julie and I are no exception to this way of life; however, once in awhile we venture back to reality and steal time to tell those we love where we were and what we did.  This is one of those moments.
